Apparently it was to save on paper towels, but the usage in the mens' toilets actually doubled, so I can imagine that more were actually washing their hands, just so they could use the new gadget.Kerry McSaveneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05255016755307242552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5029785741375576797.post-66321166290496141452010-07-14T21:02:30.064+12:002010-07-14T21:02:30.064+12:00Frankly if they're anything like the people at...Frankly if they're anything like the people at my work I wouldn't count on them washing their hands either.

I figure about 95% of people I see in the loos wash their hands before they leave, but of those maybe 5-10% on a good day, are doing it properly. For the vast majority it's a quick rinse under the tap, no soap, and a quick wipe with a towel before they're out the door and into the kitchen to make a coffee. Makes me want to shower in dettol.

Fortunately I'm now in a position to try and do something about it. I'm looking for the best gross-out posters I can get away with to stick up around the place and try to get decent hand washing if nothing else through people's heads.William de Wykehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02649071651469763901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5029785741375576797.post-80204944651759751212010-05-27T15:38:54.209+12:002010-05-27T15:38:54.209+12:00hey there just read your post and thought you migh...hey there just read your post and thought you might like some video to go with it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP_VeWurM5k is my footage. I would like to pass on my thanks to the local CD Coodinator who posted the tsunami warning flyer on the windscreen of my car on Sunday morning. I went to Pukerua Bay early on Sunday (0530) to test the waters on the incoming tide south of the large rock feature about 3-4km from Pukerua Bay, I managed to get a few casts into the water before realising the seaweed was going to be a big problem. I headed back to the carpark with the view of looking for another spot north of Pukerua Bay. I found the notice on my car and vacated the area without incident. I did notice there were 12 missed calls from my partner who new where I was fishing and I immediately called her to alay her fears. If it had not been for that flyer i may well have continued unaware of that impending threat. Please pass on my sincerest thanks for the flyer and I will be taking my cell phone with me the next time I go fishing.

CheersAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5029785741375576797.post-80095540749706425392010-02-24T02:45:42.684+13:002010-02-24T02:45:42.684+13:00Hi Porirua EMO..Would you be interested in setting...Hi Porirua EMO..Would you be interested in setting up a Porirua EMO website on ourporirua.com?
